Cross-Cultural Counseling

How do you define your culture?

Everyone's story is different. We all come with a different history. I believe one's culture, background, and/or spiritual views are an important part of who we are and create the people we are today. I strive to understand and bring awareness to things that make people positively different in our world.

My passion in the work I do is providing support, guidance, and care for individuals who identify from a different background. As a first generation child of immigrants myself, I understand the difficult this can bring into daily life. I would love to support you going through some of the following concerns related to multicultural/cross-cultural differences:

  • Immigrant or Adult Child of Immigrants

  • English as a Second Language

  • Working through Social/ Environmental Issues

  • Family of Origin Concerns

  • Isolation and Loneliness
